There is not a cooler mascot for a football team than the Rocks! And this throwback logo is equally cool. We love the leather helmet, ridiculously broad upper-body, and the vertically-carried football—like a defensive lineman rumbling towards the end-zone after scooping up a fumble. This Charleston, South Carolina school became known as the "Rocks" decades ago due to their consistently hard-hitting, dominating defense. The name stuck, and we're glad it did. Rock ‘em, Rocks!
